Barkley's Christmas Rescue was published in the December 2005 issue of Holiday Crafts 4 Kids, under the name Virginia Smith. Since that publication, I decided to use my family nickname as my pen name.

I am currently working on a horror novel. I am not sure if it should be YA or adult. It may be for both. The story is about a young man who turns into a wendigo after being trapped by an avalanche. Is it all in his mind, a hallucination brought on by guilt, or has he truly turned into this mythical creature?
