     I'm from Henderson County, Kentucky. I love animals and children, so writing children's stories feels natural. I also am fascinated by fantasy and the supernatural, so most of my stories have an element of one or both. My main goal as a writer is to teach kids to use their imagination. In the world of TV, movies, and video games, many kids never learn how to pretend and dream. I think this is a shame. My stories take them to magical worlds where anything is possible.

 

I have written for adults, non-fiction and horror, though children's writing is still my first love.
